How to Be Well

A supportive series of one-on-one sessions, thoughtfully tailored to help you explore and embrace the wellness practices that feel most natural and nourishing for you.

The health and wellness world can be confusing and overwhelming-whether you're just starting to dip your toes into the world of self-care or want to refresh your existing practice-having someone guide you through the process of finding what works best for YOU can ease the way.

Kristin provides a caring and compassionate place for folks to experience self-care in safety and compassion.

  • Session 1: Highly Effective Breathing Practices
  • Session 2: Meditation Practices for Self Awareness
  • Session 3: Yoga Poses for the Nervous System
  • Session 4: Dance Therapy for Creative Release

One 60-minute session for $120 or four 60-minute sessions for $375. Clients can bring up to 2 guests at no additional charge. The sessions can be a la carte or experienced as series.

Session One: Highly effective breathing practices

Calming the mind
Reducing anxiety, balancing the nervous system.

Box Breathing
Alternate Nostril Breathing balancing brain hemispheres, calms the mind and enhances clarity.

Coherent Breathing (Resonant Breathing)
Breathing in and out at a steady pace to synchronize heart rate and breathing, inducing relaxed meditative state.


Session 2: Meditation Practices for Self Awareness

Mindfulness Meditation
Building awareness, reducing mental clutter, bringing calm presence.

Loving-kindness Meditation
Repeating phrases of goodwill toward self and others, softening emotional tension, easing anxiety and cultivating inner peace and compassion.

Body Scan Meditation
Bringing attention to different parts of the body, from head to toes, noticing sensations without reacting. Session will include:

  • Stretching spine, arms, legs and neck.
  • Gentle tapping along shoulders, lower back and along spine to relax and release all tension.
  • Restful time at end of session to receive and integrate all benefits.


Session 3: Yoga Poses Most helpful in Calming Nervous System

Child's Pose
Stretching back and hips creating a sense of safety and rest. Deepens breath, soothes the mind.

Standing leg stretch
release tension in the spine and hamstrings, head-down position helping calm the brain and nervous system.

Spinal twists
Gently wrings out tension from the spine and internal organs, promoting relaxation and parasympathetic activation.


Session 4: Dance Therapy for Creative Release

Movement reflects our inner emotional states, and by working with the body we influence and heal the mind. It allows the outlet of feelings that may be hard to put into words - grief, trauma, joy, stress, anxiety through movement. Personal and creative movements in a supportive environment can be structured or free-form, tailored to the individual's needs and emotions.

Kristin is a hatha and prenatal yoga instructor who is passionate about integrating mental, physical and spiritual health. Her yoga and mindfulness sessions focus on improving energy, flexibility and alignment for all body types and levels, offering variations of poses combining a variety of wellness techniques that offer maximum benefit for overall well being. Kristin will guide you with an intentional, breath-focused practice with incredible healing power.
